A unique stone house with spectacular views of Sóller Bay
If you are looking for an exceptional holiday house overlooking the Port of Sóller and with amazing views of the Tramuntana mountains, then Es Vermell de Baix is the place for you. Privately owned but official in every way.
Only 270 metres from the beach but protected from the bustle and the noise. Set on a height of 40 metres, it means it overlooks the wonderful views of the Port of Sóller Bay and the World Heritage Site mountains.
The property is made up of a group of 30-year-old buildings set in the mountains overlooking the Sóller Beach. The group of buildings is made up of two separate homes belonging to the same owners: Es Vermell de Dalt y Es Vermell de Baix — the latter available for holiday rental.
We chose this plot of land measuring 10400 m2 so as to have peace and calm. The size of the land means that we are protected from neighbours and noise even though we are very close to the sea.
The orientation and position of the property means that it gets a lot of sunlight as well as having great views of both the Port of Sóller and the Tramuntana mountain range.
The buildings are completely integrated in the landscape, a mountain with a steep slope. That is why all the walls are made of thick natural stone, and that stone came from the very same excavations carried out during the building works.
The rental property, Es Vermell de Baix, has a total constructed area of 160 m2, with three bedrooms for a total number of 6 people; there are two bathrooms, on toilet, a big living and dining room measuring 40 m2, a separate kitchen with a second dining table and a pantry.
There are three external terraces, one measuring 56 m2 and with views of the Tramuntana mountain range, another one measuring 26 m2 with views of the Port of Sóller bay and another one with a swimming pool and overlooking the bay as well. All of these enable guests to spend an enjoyable time outdoors.

The owners: Catherine (a retired teacher) & Pep (an architect) are happy to greet you in Es Vermell de Baix. Es Vermell de Baix is a legally registered vacation home and we do not rent out any other houses or flats. At all times, guests deal directly with us from when they first book the house, when they arrive and when they leave.
Our home has been one of the houses on the property for the past 30 years, the other house is the one we rent out. They have been designed so as to be completely independent of each other with no possibility of interference or bothersome discomfort between each other.
